Residents’ salaries
and benefits are competitive with those provided by other institutions
in the Midwest. In addition, the faculty pays for parking fees. Each
resident may attend at least one national meeting during his/her training.
Vacations/Meetings
Dates for planned activities such as vacations and meetings should
be given to the chief resident to assist him/her in arranging the call
schedule.
As of 7/1/05, the resident staff is allowed two weeks (10 working
days) of vacation and two weeks (10 working days) for sick time per
year. This does not include time for meetings. Each resident may attend
one radiation oncology national meeting in his/her final year. If the
resident should be presenting a paper at a national meeting, he/she
may also attend that meeting.
