Clerkship Description

Barney's is an independently owned, fast paced pharmacy with friendly, patient oriented staff.  We carry a full line of DME products, bill insurances, and have 4 satellite DME sites.  Students will detail doctors, participate in pain management meetings with pain specialists, and attend other educational meetings.  During this rotation, students will focus on the extras we offer and not so much the processing and filling of prescriptions.  Ownership and management topics will also be addressed.

Site Requirements and Information

Store hours M-F 9am  to 6:30pm

                   Sat 9am to 4pm

                   Closed on Sundays

Rotation is 5 days a week appropriately 8 hours a day.  Business casual dress, lab coat optional.
