Clerkship Description
A student in this pharmacy would be exposed to all aspects of being a community
pharmacist. They have a broad range of patients from the welfare customer to the
well-to-do. They would allow you the opportunity to work in every capacity at the
store. These areas would include:
- Prescription preparation
- Counseling
- Disease State Management
- Checking out customers
- Management
- Ordering
- Preparing nursing home prescriptions
- Solving prescription problems that arise daily
Specific Site Requirements/Information
The hours are: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday thru Friday
8:30am-12:00n Saturday
This site will reimburse the student up to $5.00 per day for lunch.
