Course Description
Goals
- Work cooperatively as part of an interdisciplinary health care team.
- Appreciate medical economics as part of providing patient care.
- Provide drug and medical information to both patients and health care
providers.
- Monitor adverse reactions and side effects.
- Assess, monitor and improve medication compliance.
- Develop as awareness of issues relating to community pharmacy practice and
ownership.
- Understand specific issues related to compounding, including legal and
practical aspects.
