Objectives

At the end of the rotation, the student should be able to:

1.    Know about hospice and long-term care pharmacy.

2.    Demonstrate skills in custom prescription compounding including gels, capsules, powders, suspensions and topical sprays.

3.    Know about intravenous PCA pump usage.

4.    Know the legal requirements of C-II prescriptions in a long-term care and hospice pharmacy.
