General Information
Hy-Vee Pharmacy is an employee owned grocery store based out of West Des Moines, IA. There are twenty four Hy-Vee Pharmacies in the Kansas City Metro area.
Clerkship Description
The focus of this rotation is patient counseling, OTC counseling, and recommendations, interpretation, input, filling and dispensing of prescriptions. You will be required to make calls to the doctor's office for refills and when interventions are needed. You will also be receiving prescriptions verbally and electronically from the doctor's office.

Specific Site Requirements
You will need to wear a white lab jacket and dress professionally. Our pharmacy does about two hundred prescriptions per day, so you will have plenty of opportunities for interventions and counseling.

We are located at the intersection of 95th and Quivera on the northeast corner. Please park in front of the store, halfway between Hy-Vee and Shoe Carnival.
