PHPR 667 Advanced Specialized Clerkship II

Definition of IPSF
IPSF is the acronym for the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation.   It is a non-political, non-profit organization that aims to promote pharmacy on an international level.

The IPSF was founded by pharmacy students in London in 1949.  The objective of IPSF is to study and promote the interests of pharmaceutical students and to encourage international co-operation among them.

The Student Exchange Program allows a pharmacy student from one country to live and work in a pharmacy setting in another country for a period of one to three months.   Seventy-four countries participate in this program.  The student must apply and be accepted to this program.  If accepted, credit may be given toward clerkship requirements.  This will be decided on an individual case-by-case basis.
