Clerkship Description

Students will be exposed to the following: Sterile injectables 797 class 3, encapsulations, topical products utilizing an ointment mill and Unguator, troches, tablet triturates, rapid dissolve tablets, various sterilization techniques, suppositories, and ophthalmic products to name a few. Students will be required to pass a category 3 sterility competency evaluation in order to successfully complete the course.
