General Hospital Pharmacy Practice:
- IV Admixture
- TPN
- Cancer chemotherapy compounding
- Medication distribution
- Inventory management
Clinical Pharmacy Services:
- Patient drug therapy monitoring
- Metabolic Support Team involvement
- P & T committee attendance
- ADR reporting
- Grand Rounds attendance
- Completion of a formulary review project
Specific Site Requirements/Information
There is a mandatory hospital orientation including drug screening. St.
John's Regional Medical Center is a 360 bed facility with three twelve-bed critical care
units. It serves a population of > 100,000. Specialty areas include:
- Cardiology
- Critical Care

- Adult medicine
- Trauma
